The Kepler Mission is specifically designed to survey a portion of our region of the Milky Way galaxy to discover Earth-sized planets in or near the habitable zones of their stars and determine how many of the billions of stars in our galaxy have such planets. Kepler was launched in March 2009. This package includes models of Kepler, the photometer, and the solar array.
